Wearing: Zara Olive Green Duster Coat (Similar) Vintage Buckle Belt
Ah, fall is finally here, and now that I’m back from my 2 wk Eurotrip, it’s time to do some damage on some f/w essentials. Fall is such an exciting season with the holidays rolling in and you get to wear your nice chunky knit sweaters out. I love it!
The #1 rule I follow when it comes to dressing up for the cold: Wear what makes me comfortable but also that I’m happy to own. Dressing up for the cold weather can be tricky when it’s below freezing temperatures. That’s why I stick to items I ‘love’ to own. Not only is it stylish, but also convenient to pick out when you’re on the go.
I’ve gathered up a list of my favorite wardrobe essentials that’s budget-friendly, edgy, and street chic! Sharing some of my favorites that are not only on trend, but you can actually keep in your closet.
1.Boots
I love boots that give me some height (*5’4 here!) whether that’s a heel or chunky sole. Zara is always on point when it comes to style trends, and why I always poke around their online store before looking elsewhere. Opting for those special boots help me elevate that summer dress I’ve longed to wear in the cold.
2. Outerwear
This f/w wardrobe wouldn’t be complete without your stylish outerwear! Ever since teddy coats became a thing, I’ve been hooked on wearing mine. Something every girl needs in her closet. I am a huge fan of heavy jackets, especially jackets with a bit of flair to them. Whether that’s a nice puffer or biker jacket. You can also wear biker jackets with ripped skinny jeans and leather booties and you’re good to go. These are just some of my favorite affordable pieces I’ve been eyeing on.

3. Sweaters And Long Sleeve Shirts
Sweaters and long sleeve shirts are my absolute fav! I love long thick sweaters on days where I want to throw on a light jacket and don’t want to freeze. It’s time this year to pick long sleeve tops that are outside of my typical black and white color scheme.
4. Sneakers
I am not one to easily fall into fast fashion trends, but I’ve been guilty of pairing up my vintage sneakers with a cute slip dress, especially on those ‘lazy days’. After all the ‘dad sneaker’ trend is here to stay for good, whether we like it or not. Anybody can literally rock them, so why not try to pair them with some biker shorts and oversized blazer. They make any outfit look effortlessly cool plus you’re comfortable too!
5. Handbags/ Backpacks
I am transitioning my adult years to loving everything that’s convenient and practical for me. I’ll usually carry my laptop everywhere and just grabbing a chic style backpack really does it for me. Either that or I’ll opt for a small clutch cross body bag on days where I only need my wallet and phone. Asos carries a variety of backpacks and they are so stylish that you can wear it even to happy hour.
6. Accessories
This is the season to go all out on accessories, whether that’s rocking a boy cap or layering on simple jewelry. Tip for any outfit: just put on dainty necklace or ring on the simple neutral outfit. This offsets that mundane look and can boost up the details on your entire outfit. Accessories are what carries the look to the next level. I’m obsessed with rings and necklaces especially gold coin necklaces. Mango might be my absolute favorite for jewelry — affordable and on trend!
