As someone with sensitive skin, it’s hard not to fall into the group of a product ‘junkie’. I usually find myself aimlessly scouring through store aisles in desperate times to quench my skin’s thirst. Aside from spermy thin eyebrows & bad fashion taste, acne wasn’t an issue during my teen years let alone much of my 20’s. It wasn’t until couple years back, I was following new skin care trends constantly adding an extra step to my skin care regimen
sigh Adult acne does keep me young
I’m somewhat mindful of products I consume especially food and beauty products (which everyone should). From Accutane, sobbing in front of my mirror, to kneeling to God for better skin — I was even convinced to buy foreign products with literally no understanding of the language. Needless to say, it wasn’t easy navigating through multiple layers of moisturizer, foundations, and concealers.
Which brings me to my 3 simple rules — if my hormones seem out of whack — is no makeup, facials, and drink a ton of water. If I must wear makeup, it’s a minimal amount with products that are noncomedogenic. I find makeup is just placing more grime to my skin, plus I don’t think I’m fooling anyone when my skin is in battle. That’s why I keep my skin care routine to a minimal task. Provided that products don’t include a laundry list of ingredients.
Disclaimer: I am not a professional — However, I am someone fed up and just wants natural skin results! That’s why I gathered up this straightforward method to the test and it changed my skin. I’m here to share you some of my fav beauty products that don’t pause for concern.
